What is the process for a cosmetic medicine consultation in Auspoint, Medical Cosmetic Clinic Perth? |
|
|
You will be assessed by a doctor with cosmetic medicine training, and/or a cosmetic therapist to identify and address your cosmetic problems and concerns. The doctor or therapist will then discuss and establish a personalised treatment plan, that will take into account your individual needs, and which will include your treatment options and your particular social and financial situation. |

How will I be assessed? |

The doctor and/or cosmetic therapist will examine different aspects of your condition, applying assessment tools and relevant clinical criteria. When required, specialised equipment may be used. This will be based on your particular skin type, age, sun damage history, general skin condition, as well as particular skin conditions and problems. Attention will be paid to skin cancer or infections in the area of proposed cosmetic treatment, as well as any previous cosmetic treatments, in particular any complications you might have had.
You will also be asked to provide information on any medical conditions that you might suffer, and any medications that you are taking, such as blood thinners, acne treatment, amongst others. |
